Freshfields recognised on the Stonewall Top Global Employers List 2019
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (‘Freshfields’) has been included in Stonewall’s Top Global Employers List 2019, a definitive list that showcases the best multinational employers for lesbian, gay, bi and trans professionals. Freshfields’ Asia managing partner, Georgia Dawson, has also been named Global Senior Champion by Stonewall for her ongoing commitment to championing LGBT rights.
The Top Global Employers List 2019 highlights 14 leading multinational employers, compiled from Stonewall’s Global Workplace Equality Index. The Global Index is a benchmarking tool designed by Stonewall to enable employers to create inclusive workplaces across the markets in which they operate. In compiling the list, Stonewall takes into consideration employee policy, training, staff engagement, leadership, monitoring, procurement, community engagement and local and in-country activity around LGBT issues.
Senior partner Edward Braham said, “I am delighted that we have been recognised as a Top Global Employer by Stonewall and am grateful to all at the firm who work to ensure our culture is inclusive and welcoming to all our LGBT colleagues.
