Freshfields advises on listing of Blue Moon Group Holdings Limited in Hong Kong
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) has advised the Joint Sponsors and the Underwriters on the global offering and listing of shares in Blue Moon Group Holdings Limited (‘Blue Moon Group’) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The global offering before any exercise of the over-allotment option raised proceeds of US$1.27bn. Trading in the shares commenced today (16 December 2020).
Blue Moon Group is a leading consumer-centric household care company in China. Since the launch of its first brand product in 1992, Blue Moon Group has built a strong brand in the China with a diverse portfolio of market-leading products that are well-recognised among consumers. Its products primarily comprise three categories: fabric care, personal hygiene and home care. Its liquid laundry detergent, liquid soap and concentrated liquid laundry detergent products had the largest market shares in their respective markets in each of 2017, 2018 and 2019, according to industry research.
