Freshfields advises Helios Health on the purchase of the Eugin Group
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (‘Freshfields’) ha asesorado a Helios Health en la compra del Grupo Eugin a NMC Health, mediante la compra de una participación mayoritaria (que potencialmente podría llegar al 100%) del capital social de Luarmia S.L.U., y del 100% de NMC Eugin US Corporation, por una valoración conjunta de 430 millones de euros.
Helios Health is a German company, holding company of the business of private hospitals and clinics Fresenius-Helios, owner of Helios in Germany and Of Chironsalud in Spain and Latin America. This acquisition allows Helios to expand internationally in the assisted reproduction sector.
The transaction is subject to certain authorizations from regulatory authorities and closure is expected for the first half of 2021.
The Freshfields team that led the operation has been formed, in Spain, by partner Javier Monzón and in the United States by partners John Fisher (Silicon Valley) and Paul Humphreys (New York), who have had the participation of Lucía Quiroga (Madrid) and David Chen (Silicon Valley).
